What happens after the 30-day trial?
You'll be asked to choose a plan. If you don't, the app continues in read-only mode — you can see your history but can't add new receipts or scans.
Does the Family plan auto-charge after 30 days?
Yes — if you start a paid trial, it will auto-renew after 30 days. You can cancel any time before then from the app settings or your App Store / Google Play subscription page. The free trial requires no card at all.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You can start the 30-day free trial with just your phone number. No card details required.
What counts as a 'scan'?
Each time you photograph a receipt and the AI reads it, that counts as one scan. Manually entered receipts don't count towards your limit.
Can I have more than 5 users in a group?
Not currently. The 5-user limit is designed for families and small groups. If you need more, get in touch — we're working on larger group plans.
Is ReceiptKid a financial service?
No. ReceiptKid tracks what people owe each other — it doesn't hold, move, or store real money. Payments happen outside the app, however you normally pay each other.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the app settings or your App Store / Google Play subscription page. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
